College of Natural & Health Sciences
Many of us are called to be instruments of the Great Physician by serving in the fields of science, math and medicine. At Southeastern University, you will be prepared for your career through a blending of faith and academics, making you a more well-rounded individual. You’ll build a solid foundation that will help you to meet the needs of your patients, or prepare you for advanced graduate studies.
Situated at the heart of campus, our new College of Natural & Health Sciences building includes a state-of-the-art nursing simulation lab, patient exam rooms and laboratory classrooms for chemistry, biology, computer and general science. The facility also is home to Suzie, Florida’s only complete, standing mastodon skeleton.
Matthew Madison, Biology ’13
Matthew knew early on he wanted to pursue a career in the health sciences and was looking for a university that would help him get there. At SEU, he was equipped to take on the challenges of medical school and make a difference as a Christian health care professional. His commitment to excellence and strong academic foundation earned him a competitive grant that funded an entire year of his graduate studies at Baylor University’s College of Medicine.
SEU Study Abroad offers many opportunities to enhance your global understanding of the medical field and serving others, such as trips to Uganda (which offers a global health track) and to Honduras, where you will also learn about medical missions.
