Due to the pandemic, multiple members of my family lost their jobs. My mom worked four different jobs to be able to cover my school expenses, but now she is down to one job, resulting in my financial need for the fall to be $9,500. Words cannot express how grateful I am to every single contributor. God bless you.

The COVID-19 pandemic had directly affected my finances for next semester. My parents are pastors, and because of churches being shut down during this time, it has affected my family’s finances. We depend 100% on God, and He has never failed us. I trust that He will provide!

My dad's business was seriously affected by the pandemic to the point of our family having no income at all during this time. We haven't even finished paying for the spring semester yet, and we are very worried about next semester and my future at SEU. Please know that any contribution you make to the Student Relief Fund would be a huge help, and greatly appreciated, by me and my family!

I love the Elementary Education program at SEU. I am currently a junior and I'm so proud to be on the Dean’s List. I look forward to giving back to the community once I begin teaching. I am so very appreciative of your help during this financially difficult time for me and my family.

The SEU Student Relief Fund can be the answer that students impacted by COVID-19 have been hoping for. Many times, your gift is the miracle that a student needs to return to school.

A Message from
Ray Allen

Director of Multicultural Affairs

Studies have shown that ethnic minority workers have been disproportionately affected by unemployment due to COVID-19, and the impacts are especially being felt by their families, including their college-aged students. There has never been a time that these students need your support more than now.
