Jacob Fusek, Organizational Leadership ’15
“I decided to come to Southeastern because I loved the unique on-campus culture.”
Throughout his time at Southeastern University, Jacob Fusek has been involved in a diverse body of extracurricular activities, discovering opportunities to lead from the foundation of servant-leadership he has gained from the classroom. As a student leader in the Department of Spiritual Formation, he toured with SEU Worship and played guitar on the album Faith to Believe, which was recorded live at the House of Blues in Orlando. He has also been involved with a variety of other worship ministries in the central Florida area and currently serves as a guitarist at Highland Park Church. During the spring of 2015, Jacob spent a semester in Washington, D.C., with the American Studies Program. There, he learned about leadership and the global development enterprise and completed an internship at Convergence Center for Policy Resolution. Jacob also studied abroad with the Oxford Summer Program, taking courses in philosophy and theology. With a passion for sustainable enterprise, Jacob plans to pursue a graduate degree in management and work in the corporate sector upon graduation.
