SEU Missions — #GivingTuesday
Part of our #GivingTuesday story series.
One of the most distinctive aspects of the Southeastern University experience is our passion for missions. Our students receive the opportunity to serve communities in both local and international capacities. From relief initiatives in third-world countries to volunteering their mentorship internationally-based orphanages, our students propel their passion to serve by leading innovative efforts to reach people with the selfless love of Jesus Christ.
Our students regularly make it their mission to help our local communities. We believe that loving our own city best prepares us to go out and love other cities. Local outreaches also provide an opportunity for students to serve consistently and establish relationships with community members. But — they don’t stop there.
Every year, our students work with our mission partners to plan mission trips that serve all types of people, as they follow God’s call to the ends of the earth. Southeastern annually sends teams of students to locations such as Cambodia, Haiti, Tanzania, Cuba, El Salvador and many more. Students from all interests, backgrounds, majors and ability levels serve faithfully in missions. These initiatives enrich not only the lives of the people they serve, but their own lives as well.
It is because of generous partners like you that we can impact the future of our students, who in return impact our community and the world. By giving to Southeastern University and supporting our general scholarship fund, you invest not only in the life of a student at Southeastern but in the future of our communities. In honor of Giving Tuesday, please consider joining us to empower the call in our students’ lives by making a contribution on our Giving page.
