Tim Tebow & Jeff Foxworthy – Gala Speakers
On Friday, March 16, 2018, the Forum at SEU will host its annual Scholarship Gala fundraising dinner. This year’s speakers will include Tim Tebow and Jeff Foxworthy as co-hosts for the evening event, who will share their personal life experiences of leadership. The Gala will take place on Southeastern University’s campus in The Furnace at 6:30 p.m., following the Forum at SEU.
About Tim Tebow
Tebow is a two-time national champion, first round NFL draft pick and Heisman Trophy winner. In addition, he serves as a college football analyst for ESPN. Prior to joining ESPN, Tebow played three years in the NFL for the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets. Currently, Tebow is pursuing a career in professional baseball as a member of the New York Mets organization.
Tebow is the author of two New York Times Best Selling books. “Through My Eyes” was named the number one sports and religion book of 2011. “Shaken: Discovering Your True Identity in Midst of Life’s Storm” was released in 2016 and won the 2017 Evangelical Christian Publishers Association Book of the Year.
About Jeff Foxworthy
Jeff Foxworthy is the largest-selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee and bestselling author of more than 26 books. In 2014, he was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday family interactions and human nature, a style that has been compared to Mark Twain’s.
Foxworthy is also known for being the host of various television shows. He hosted the FOX television game show “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?” for several seasons, including its return to primetime this past fall. He hosted three seasons of “The American Bible Challenge” for GSN, had an animated series “Bounty Hunters” on CMT, hosted the reality series “The American Baking Competition” for CBS Television Network and narrated the Lifetime reality show “The Week the Women Left.”
Tickets to the Gala
At this time seating for the event is being sold through table sponsorships, which begin at $1,000 for eight reserved seats to the Gala only. Individual tickets will be offered on an as-available basis beginning February 1. The cost of an individual ticket is $250.
Sponsorships at the $2,500 level or higher include tickets to both the Gala and the Forum at SEU leadership event, which will be held on March 15 & 16 at Southeastern University. All proceeds from the Gala help fund student scholarships.
