Pray.com—The #1 App for Prayer & Faith

Pray.com, the number one ranked app for prayer and faith, recently became the only religious app to be ranked in Apple’s Top 10 in the lifestyle category. Shortly after launching the app on the campus of Southeastern University, Pray.com’s daily prayers and Bible bedtime stories have gone viral. The app has climbed the charts and now sits at number five in Apple’s Lifestyle category.

Pray.com is a free social networking platform for faith-based communities and non-profits that sells premium audio content for people of faith.

Founded in 2016, Pray.com’s mission is to grow faith and cultivate community. Pray.com helps its members share prayers, give to 501(c)3 religious organizations, and enjoy faith-based audio content like bedtime Bible stories. Members can access inspirational testimonies through its mini-series “Life, Leadership, and Legacy” that feature prominent leaders like Dr. Kent Ingle, Roma Downey, and Donovan Carter.

“Pray.com has been an incredible resource for Southeastern University by connecting the prayer lives and spiritual community of our campus,” said Kent Ingle, president of Southeastern University. “The influence of apps and social media has a rapid impact on our culture, and it is amazing to see it used in such an effective way to increase the power of prayer. There is no doubt the future of faith-based content, which educates young people and globally connects individuals through prayer, is headed in this direction.”

Benefits of the Pray.com platform include:

  • Community. Within the free app, members can create prayer requests, pray for others, and share answered prayers with people they love.
  •  Content. App users who upgrade to the paid app gain access to a cinematic audio experience — including kids’ Bible shows, Bible-based meditations, and bedtime Bible stories — as well as worship music and inspirational testimonies.

“I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to deliver on our mission of growing faith and cultivating community,” said Steve Gatena, founder and CEO of Pray.com. “We’ve spent the last twenty-four months refining the Pray.com mobile app and have received tremendous support.”

With their latest round of funding, Pray.com has helped facilitate over 50,000,000 prayers across 183 countries that have been shared more than 15,000,000 times, and broken Apple’s Top 10 app store rankings. To learn more and join this community, download the Pray.com mobile app.
