MS in Kinesiology – More Than a Degree
Dedication. Strength. Perseverance. You have all this and more, but now it’s time to take it to the next level. Southeastern University’s Master of Science in Kinesiology degree offers an innovative and personal approach to master’s level studies, equipping you to earn a degree and fulfill the calling on your life.
In as little as a year, you can complete 33 credit hours of coursework that is offered in a convenient blend of online and in-person learning. Personalize projects, field experiences, and research assignments by delving into topics that excite you and apply them directly to your current or intended career. Learn from professors who are experts in the industry, covering areas including sport science and coaching, athletic administration, and sport ministry.
“The specificity of the program helped me find my calling in the sport industry,” said Professor Kelsi (Black) Dickens, ’19, an instructor for human performance studies at SEU and assistant coach to the SEU Fire Tennis team. “Each professor guided me toward my final thesis. The involvement and mentorship of these professors are what separates this program from others.”
As a graduate of this program, you’ll use your training to confidently pursue greater career opportunities. Work in wellness management or as a sports agent, athletic trainer, or gym owner. Become a sport ministry director or an exercise physiologist (just to name a few).
When you complete this program, you’ll also be eligible to receive a teaching certificate in physical education and a high school athletic director’s certificate from the Association of Chrisitan School International (ACSI).
