Campus Safety Update — Jan. 22, 2021
This morning Southeastern University received an unsubstantiated email threat against its campus. Out of an abundance of caution, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office was notified and deployed a number of deputies to investigate the campus.
Students, staff and faculty were alerted to shelter in place. No suspicious objects were found, and Security issued an all clear for all buildings. There is no active threat or incident on the campus at this time.
Classes are scheduled to resume at 1:00 p.m.
All university operations are scheduled to continue as normal.
