New Worship Ministry Degrees Coming Fall 2017
Beginning in the fall of 2017, SEU Bayside Campus will be offering two new degree programs, the Associate of Worship Ministries and the Bachelor of Science in Worship Ministries. These degree programs will combine both instrumental and vocal development courses with theology and ministerial courses.
Master of Divinity Program
Planting churches has always been a critical part of the church’s mission, and there is a critical need to train up leaders who can continue to answer the call to bring the Gospel to new communities and people. The Association of Related Churches (ARC) and Southeastern University have joined together to develop a master’s degree program designed for those with a God-given vision to plant churches or be part of church planting leadership. Southeastern’s Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree features a concentration in church planting, available exclusively at SEU Bayside Campus. The majority of the courses will be taught on-campus two nights per week. Students will hear from world-class ministry leaders, learn and demonstrate collaborative problem-solving skills and multi-disciplinary concepts, and complete a thesis focused on church planting at the conclusion of the program.
World-Class Training in Church Planting
Designed to be completed in three years, the MDiv with a concentration in church planting includes a total of 72 credit hours. The program brings together some of the country’s top church planting leaders to teach several of the sessions. Speakers include the following:
