Master of Science in Kinesiology

SEU’s master’s program in kinesiology equips both recent college graduates and working professionals to excel as leaders in the health, fitness, wellness and education fields, whether as an athletic administrator/coach, personal trainer, sport ministry director or one of the many other career options available. The 33-credit hour program is structured in an eight-week course format, featuring classroom interaction as well as online course work and live video instruction. You will gain a broad understanding in the areas of sport science, physical education, coaching, sport administration, sport ministry and strength-training performance. And if you have a specific area of interest, you’ll be able to tailor your learning through course projects, field experiences and research assignments. Students who complete the program at SEU are also eligible to receive a teaching certificate in physical education and a high school athletic director’s certificate from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
