Professor Berry is an associate professor of sports management and teaches courses within the sports management program. She also advises students toward degree completion. Prior to working at Southeastern, Professor Berry was a full-time faculty member in the Sport and Exercise Science program at the University of Central Florida for 9 years. She also served as adjunct faculty in the human performance program at the University of Tampa from 2014 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, she worked as a physical education and health teacher for a private, K–12 Christian school in Valrico, Florida. While there, she also had the opportunity to work as an assistant teacher for the special needs program, working with students that had autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities and emotional disorders.

Professor Berry began her career in athletic training and served as a head athletic trainer for Lake Sumter Community College. It was during this time that she felt God calling her into full-time education. She has a true passion for working with college students, helping them find their niche and advising them toward their careers.

In her spare time, Professor Berry enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.
