Dr. Bryan came to Southeastern from Indiana with 29 years of experience in K-12 public education. He knows the public education system from many perspectives having served as teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and for nine years as a district superintendent. In addition, he has 12 years of experience as an adjunct professor: two years at Taylor University teaching undergraduate classes in the College of Education, and 11 years at Indiana Wesleyan University teaching graduate classes in the Education Department. Dr. Bryan has been a full-time faculty member at Southeastern University since 2006.

Dr. Bryan loves teaching at Southeastern University and appreciates being immersed in such a Christ-centered environment. He takes great pride in helping prepare aspiring instructional leaders for future roles in school administration and assisting others in becoming master teachers in their particular areas of concentration. He embraces the values and beliefs held by Southeastern University and strives to instill the same high qualities in each of his students.

Dr. Bryan has been married to his wife, Karen, since 1973. He has two grown children and three grandchildren.
