Dr. Scott Bryan comes to Southeastern from Indiana with 29 years of experience in K-12 public education. He knows the public education system from many angles, having served as a teacher, as a principal, as an assistant superintendent, and, for nine years, as a district superintendent. In addition, he has 12 years of experience as an adjunct professor, two years at Taylor University teaching undergraduate classes, and 11 years at Indiana Wesleyan University teaching graduate classes.
Dr. Bryan loves teaching at Southeastern because the school nurtures such a Christ-centered environment, and he strives to instill a love of learning in his students. He takes great pleasure in helping prepare pre-service teachers for a rewarding career as classroom teachers, truly believing that Southeastern’s graduates will influence and shape the future in great ways.
Dr. Bryan primarily teaches graduate-level courses in Southeastern’s Master of Education programs, with an emphasis on the educational leadership courses.
