Professor Tad Carls came to Southeastern University with 14 years of experience in sport management. He most recently served as assistant principal and head baseball coach at a Christian high school in Colorado. He has also served as an athletic director, guidance counselor and teacher. Professor Carls has been involved in starting community and competitive youth baseball programs in Colorado and Wyoming, as well.
After leading his team to the Colorado State High School Baseball Championship in 2012, Professor Carls was blessed with the opportunity to move into higher education at Southeastern University in their sport management department. Taking over as chair of the department shortly after his arrival on campus, Professor Carls desires for his students to gain a Christ-centered education while developing the skills and experiences necessary to contribute to this rapidly growing and constantly changing profession.
