Dr. Schmunk is a husband and father residing in North Port, Florida. He is also certified as a Master Scuba Diver and enjoys diving in the Gulf of Mexico, and off every beach in Venice, Florida. Dr. Schmunk experienced the saving grace of Jesus Christ at an early age. His personal mission statement is “To get ready for heaven, and take as many people with me as I can.” to this end he enters into every opportunity where he can share the Gospel and make disciples. Dr. Schmunk’s life verse is Jeremiah 20:9. He is deeply committed to world mission and has traveled to almost every continent sharing the Good News of Jesus.

He has served as a Pastor and Minister of the Gospel for the past 40 years, having served in Denver, Minneapolis, Upstate New York, and Florida. Dr. Schmunk is currently a lead Pastor at a local church in Venice, Florida. He has also been on the staff of Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship and has served with Youth for Christ in his early years. He has been privileged to serve as adjunct faculty member for SEU at Bayside College, in Bradenton, FL for the past 4 years and is now serves as a full-time lecturer.
