Dr. Meghan Griffin joined Southeastern University as Academic Dean in the School of Unrestricted Education in 2017. Prior to to her time at SEU, Dr. Griffin served in extension campuses at Palm Beach Atlantic University and online program administration at Daytona State College. In the private sector, Meghan served as Social Media & Content Manager for Black Tie Digital Marketing and worked as an editor and technical writer.
Dr. Griffin’s dissertation focused on Greek hypomnemata and actor-network theory as related to the circulation of health expertise and somatechnologies in digital life writing. Current research interests include actor-network theory and online teamwork, classical Christian education and digital pedagogy, and scholé (restful learning) in online higher education. One of Meghan’s favorite professional projects was coding astronaut journals for the University of Central Florida’s Space, Science, and Spirituality project which investigated experiences of awe, wonder, curiosity, and humility during space flight.
Meghan and her husband Lee have three young children: Rachel, Wesley, and Brad. They are a Classical Conversations homeschooling family and enjoy championing the CC+ dual enrollment program at Southeastern University.
