Mr. Jeff Hopkins has 8 years of financial services and 3 years of teaching experience. He moved to Southeastern University in 2018 as an assistant professor in the Jannetides School of Business. He had always planned to teach at the collegiate level.
In the classroom, Mr. Hopkins likes to show the connection between classroom learning and real world application. He tries to make it as interesting and practical as possible by mixing only a little lecture with a lot of hands-on problem-solving and interaction. His favorite part of teaching is getting to know each student, in and out of the classroom. Though Mr. Hopkins expects everyone to work hard, he also expects them to enjoy their time at Southeastern University.
He advises students entering accounting and international degree programs.
