BS in Mathematics (6-12), Southeastern University
MBA, Southeastern University
Professor Erik Roldán has been teaching mathematics for eleven years with experience teaching in middle school, high school, and college. He was an engineering major at USF but found his calling and passion to help students learn math from a summer part-time tutoring job. His goal is to equip every student to be successful in college and their careers by teaching and guiding them through the challenges of their math courses.
Professor Roldán grew up in Winter Haven in a Puerto Rican home as a pastor’s kid. He loves baseball and played for Southeastern University in 2002 and 2003 with Professor Jeremy Denton, also a roommate and classmate at the time. As Professor Roldán became more involved in his church and community, he came back to SEU to study business and leadership in 2011. He is currently working on his MS in Mathematics & Statistics at UWF. He says, “What better place to use my gifts and fulfill my calling than Southeastern University, the place which inspired and equipped me and thousands of others to do so the same!”
Professor Roldán teaches developmental and general education mathematics courses.
