Dr. Campbell joined the Southeastern University faculty in 2017 after earning her doctorate. She has spent her career in education, starting as a middle school math and social studies teacher in Orlando. Dr. Campbell has been at the university level since 1996, working as an instructor and university supervisor at the University of South Florida, Saint Leo University, and Florida State University. Her passion is in teacher training, particularly helping student teachers develop effective classroom management strategies. She has supervised over 400 final interns at all grade levels and in all subject areas.
Since 2000, Dr. Campbell has been a member of a construction-based mission team that travels to West Virginia every summer. She has served as the team’s leader since 2012, overseeing each year’s fundraising and travel plans and developing relationships with pastors and community leaders in over a dozen areas around the state. The team works to restore homes in flood-ravaged or impoverished towns, connecting with the people served and building God’s Kingdom. Dr. Campbell has been married since 1992 and has two grown sons.
Dr. Campbell works in the Department of Doctoral Studies, providing writing support for students in the EdD, DMin, and DSL/PhD programs at Southeastern. She also works with the undergraduate program in the College of Education, teaching courses and maintaining test score data related to Florida teacher certification requirements.
