Professor Ben Gomez brings legal experience in corporate America and church experience in various roles. With a diverse background in legal, ministry, and corporate growth, he understands the need for critical thinking and organizational efficiency in the church in order to navigate through the maze of contemporary culture. He serves SEU as the Director of Youth Ministry Studies.

Professor Gomez is a passionate advocate for undergraduate students in universities. He hopes his work can contribute to better understanding emerging adults—which he believes are one of the most misunderstood groups of people in our churches today—and provide more meaningful ways for faith communities to support them in one of the most important periods in their lives.

Professor Gomez currently teaches the following courses at SEU: Christ, Culture and the University, Youth Ministry, Spiritual Formation of Families, Family Ministry, Moot Court, and Legal Studies. His goal in his educational ministry is to foster this amalgamation in all his students.

He and his wife, Jessica, have a beautiful daughter, Olivia.
