Dr. Adrian Manley came to serve at Southeastern University in the fall of 2014. Before coming to Southeastern, Dr. Manley’s most recent experience was as a tenured faculty counselor at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. While at Valencia, he provided personal, academic and career counseling services to students. Being a passionate and skilled presenter, Dr. Manley developed a variety of workshops regarding relationships, which he presented to Valencia students across three campuses. He was frequently called upon to develop and/or present information for faculty and staff training and development. Dr. Manley’s experience before Valencia includes clinical supervision and teaching stress and anxiety management, college success, and career and life development courses at the University of Florida and Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida.

Dr. Manley is a licensed marriage and family therapist and is frequently called to speak on marriage and family topics in the church and in education arenas. He counsels couples and families in distress. Dr. Manley is passionate about premarital counseling and preparing couples to successfully embrace and deal with the multiple challenges and joys of having a godly marriage.

Dr. Manley is a speaker and the author of The Little Book of Wisdom for Dealing with Frustration: Godly Wisdom for Everyday Life. He is also the pastor of Christ Centered Fellowship Church in Clermont, Florida.

At Southeastern, Dr. Manley is an associate professor within the Department of Counseling and teaches the following courses: Human Growth and Development, Family Counseling, Group Theory and Counseling, Counseling Special Populations, Foundations of Counseling and Practicum II.
