09.26.12 By Southeastern University On Monday, September 24, Southeastern President Kent Ingle announced football facility plans and unveiled preliminary designs for a 5,000-seat stadium. "This is a courageous step for us," Ingle said to an audience of more than 100 business and community leaders during the evening's fundraising event. Construction of the facility, the first major step in the university's master plan for campus growth, is expected to begin Spring 2013, according to Brian Carroll, vice president for university advancement, with plans to start Fire football in Fall 2014.
