Adjunct Instructors for Human Services Specializations

The College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, Department of Human Services, is looking to develop a pool of adjunct instructors with the following specializations in human services: Gerontology, Children and Family, and Emergency Management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Gerontology or
  • Doctorate degree in Children and Family or
  • Doctorate degree in Emergency Management

Adjunct Professor of Web Development

The College of Business and Legal Studies, Department of Business, is seeking applications for the position of Adjunct Professor of Web Development to teach 1-2 courses per semester in the daytime or evening undergraduate program. Applicant must be able to come to campus to teach.

Skills/Qualifications:

  1. Masters or doctorate degree in a related field.
  2. Applicants with knowledge and experience in some or all of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
    HTML including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, web server basics, web protocols and Perl.

Assistant Professor of Counselor Education / Psychology

College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (CBSS)

Position Summary:

Southeastern University is currently accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Counselor Education / Psychology. Teaching responsibilities will include evening graduate courses in our year-round training program for professional and school counselors and additional courses in our undergraduate psychology curriculum. Other duties include advising, participation in the department's recruiting efforts, serving on committees, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Chair, Counselor Education Programs and the Dean of the CBSS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • License eligibility as a Psychologist or Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida
  • Credentials as a professional supervisor in Florida

Essential Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology or Counselor Education.
  • Successful instructional experience in a university setting at the graduate and undergraduate level.
  • Significant experience in providing professional mental health services.

INSTRUCTOR OF PERCUSSION/DRUM LINE/DRUM SET

FULL-TIME

Southeastern University seeks applicants for the position of Instructor of Percussion/Drum Line/Drum Set. Position reports to the Department Chair of Music. Position includes teaching percussion and other subjects in music as per experience, and working with marching drum lines, jazz, and concert percussion. Recruiting of talented students is important.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DMA in Percussion Performance

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in music with percussion as the principle instrument
  • Ability to teach all areas of percussion
  • Experience working with marching drum lines, jazz, and concert percussion
