Southeastern University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Practical Ministry in the College of Christian Ministries and Religion. The Assistant Professor teaches practical ministry courses and assists the Dean in the oversight of adult education courses. A Ph.D. in Religion with some pastoral ministry experience in the Assemblies of God preferred or a D.Min. with pastoral ministry experience with the Assemblies of God acceptable. Consideration is made for those with master's degree(s) who are planning to do further studies for a terminal degree. Credentials in the Assemblies of God are required. This position also requires student advising and university committee work.
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR/COORDINATOR OF SPORT MANAGEMENT
The Assistant Professor/Coordinator of Sport Management (SRMT) reports to the Chair of the SRMT program in the College of Education. A Master's degree (or higher) in Sport Management is required. Coordination duties require working with the SRMT Chair and Dean of the College of Education in oversight and management of the SRMT program, advising students, and general administrative duties. A teaching load of 21 hours (i.e. 7 courses) per academic year is required. Preference will be given to candidates with previous SRMT and education experience, strong computer skills, and desire to work and advance with our growing SRMT program.

Adjunct Instructors for Human Services Courses
The Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences is accepting applications for the position of adjunct instructor for human services courses. Adjunct instructor will teach eight week classes, both online and on-campus. Instructors are needed for undergraduate and graduate courses.
Master's degree in Human Services is required for undergraduate instruction and a doctorate in Human Services for graduate instruction. Applicant must have worked at least 3 or more years in human services and are familiar with Blackboard. Assistant Professor of Accounting
The Assistant Professor of Accounting reports to the Chair of the Department of Business Administration in the College of Business & Legal Studies. Master's degree in Accounting/MBA with CPA required. PhD or DBA in Accounting preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of five years of experience as an accountant in a public, private, or not-for-profit institution, as well as three years (or equivalent) teaching at the post-secondary level. Teaching experience should include both land-based and online instructional formats. A demonstrated record of publishing in academic and practitioner journals is desirable.
Primary teaching duties will include upper level accounting classes (e.g. tax, audit, accounting information systems) in addition to the principles accounting classes. This position also requires student advising and university committee work. The standard contract calls for a 4-4 teaching assignment (24 credit hours in an academic year). Other responsibilities will include participation in faculty seminars and workshops during the first academic year.
Assistant Professor of English

Overall responsibilities include teaching 12 hours per semester, committee work and/or sponsorships, student advising, scholarly contributions, and supporting the overall work of the Department of English and Foreign Languages. Assistant Professor of Film (Electronic Cinematography)
Southeastern University invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Professor of Film (Electronic Cinematography). Position is full-time working a ten-month academic year. Salary is commensurate with experience and degree held at the time of appointment.
The professor reports to the Communication Department Chair, the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and ultimately to the University Vice President for Academic Affairs. His/Her primary duties would include teaching filmmaking courses, the oversight of student feature films, serving as student film festival faculty sponsor, serving on committees as assigned by the department chair, and advising.
Criteria: - M.F.A or Ph.D. preferred in Filmmaking (Electronic Cinematography or related field). Traditional Master's degree also considered.
- Successful experience in filmmaking is necessary.
- Successful experience as a college instructor and the ability to teach filmmaking.
