Computer Classrooms and Labs
The office of Technology administers information technology in support of all operations of the University.
Each enrolled student is provided an individual user account that provides a Microsoft Exchange e-mail account and login access to the academic local area network.
The Office maintains the following facilities in support of academic programs:
- Four computer classrooms equipped with overhead LCD projectors
- Two classrooms equipped with SMART Technologies interactive whiteboards, and audiovisual recording and encoding systems. Classes held in these rooms can be viewed on the Internet in real time or by playback on demand at a later time.
- A student computing lab that provides access to printing, scanning, and the software needed for University coursework.
- Specialised support facilities for students, such as the Library, the Writing Center, and the Career Center.
Wireless Internet access is available throughout most of the public areas of the University.
