Director's Bio

Emilia Butu

Emilia Butu is the Director of E-Learning at Southeastern University. She has a MS in Control Engineering and Computers, earned in Romania, and a MS in Computer Science from Southeastern University. She is currently working on her PhD in Computer Science at George Mason University.

Professor Butu has been teaching on campus and online courses in Computer Science and Mathematics at Southeastern University since January 2002. She has more than 15 years of computer engineering experience in education, research and software design, specialized in development and project management of software and web-based learning applications. Professor Butu has extensive experience in adult education, using educational gaming and simulation techniques.
