All employees are entitle to enjoy a health club membership Waterside Fitness, a half block from campus, and are encouraged to take advantage of such local events as Southwest Night at Arena Stage and Jazz and Blues Nights at Westminster Presbyterian Church, which features local professional musicians in lively sets every week.

Southeastern is a few blocks from the Waterfront-Southeastern University Metro station and is also near the major L'Enfant Plaza Metro station. The Circulator Bus, convenient access to major driving routes, and on-campus parking options provide many options for getting to work.
