Instructions for Accessing SEU's Online Job Bank through STARS

SEU's Online Job Bank is housed within STARS (Student Technology Administration System). STARS is a university-wide technology tool that facilitates SEU's online community. STARS users can search a directory of students, staff and faculty; make requests for services from departments; view registration and transcript records; and access the SEU Job Bank. Only students, alumni, faculty and staff have access to the resources in STARS.

Accessing STARS

To access STARS you must login with a username and password at https://stars.seu.edu. If you do not already have a password, click Where's my STARS account, and then follow the instructions. You will be required to provide the following for verification:

• Student ID or the last 4 digits of your social security number
• Birth date
• Last Name

Important Note for Alumni

Since STARS is a new program, some alumni records may not appear in the system. The Alumni Relations Officer will assist you with accessing and creating your record in STARS should you encounter a problem. Contact Stephanie Francis, Alumni Relations Officer at sfrancis@adimin.seu.edu immediately if you receive the following message after attempting to create a username and password: "Your student ID or the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number does not match our records. Please try again or contact technical support at stars@seu.edu."

In your email, be sure to include the following:

• Name while attending SEU
• Birth date
• Year graduated
• Email

Conducting Your Job Search

• Log on to the SEU website: www.southeastern.edu
• Click on STARS
• Enter your username and password, and then click Submit
• Click on the Career button in the left pane
• Click on Job Search
• Complete the Job Search Form
• To narrow down your job search or if you want to view all job listings, click
• View All Job Listings

Completing Your Career Profile

• Click on My Career Profile
• Click on Create a Profile (Creating a profile is the same as posting your resume online)
• Enter the information as you would type in your resume
• Click Create Profile
