what is in the resume but not a repeat of the resume. Cover letters should
always address each component of the job description taken from the ad

Use cover letters when mailing or faxing your resume
Do not use cover letters at job fairs or on campus interviews
Resumes should be free from spelling or grammar errors.
In the professional world of work having practical work experience means success.
A part-time job without your career interest in mind will not benefit
you in the future. Most internships and coops are paid positions, and
will give you the needed experience in your field of choice. Students
should seek out these positions for professional growth and practical
work experience. The Career Center has the resources available to help
you find an internship or coop suited for you. Login to STARS to check SEU's own job bank.
SEU want to keep you here throughout your academic career. However, all
majors are not offered making transfers necessary. The Career Center has
literature on many national colleges, universities, and professional institutions
across the country that welcome our students.
