Southeastern University welcomes applications for full-time or part-time admission from students who wish to enter the University as first-time or transfer graduate students. Southeastern University admits students to each of the four terms during the academic year: Fall (September), Winter (January), Spring (March/April), and Summer (June/July).
Admission Categories
Graduate students may enter as degree or non-degree students.
Degree-seeking: Applicants who meet all undergraduate admission requirements will be admitted under degree-seeking status.
Non Degree-seeking: Applicants who desire to take courses at Southeastern University without seeking a degree will be admitted under Non-Degree status. Non-Degree students are not eligible for financial aid, including student loans.
All students, whether applying for the degree program or as a non-degree student, must apply to and be admitted by the Office of Admissions before registration will be processed.
It is the applicant's responsibility to make certain that all documents necessary for admission are sent to the Admissions Office. Incomplete applications will delay the admission decision. Southeastern University believes in offering personalized attention to every applicant. Therefore, upon receipt of all application materials, the student will receive written notification of official acceptance in approximately two weeks.
Southeastern University does not condone any policy or practice which deprives any individual of rights because of race, religion, national origin, or disability.
Because Southeastern University strives to maintain a diverse student body, all undergraduate academic majors will be considered. However, if a student's undergraduate academic major varies widely from his/her proposed graduate major, certain undergraduate foundation courses may be necessary for success in some of the highly technical courses offered at the graduate level. Your Department Chairperson will determine the necessary prerequisites.
