Student Government Association Elections
"2007 Information Sheet"
Criteria to Run:
- Must be currently enrolled at Southeastern University.
- Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 and must maintain that GPA throughout tenure as an officer.
- Must be in good academic and social standing.
- Must be able to serve for one full year (4 consecutive quadmesters).
Directions:
- Thoroughly understand the requirements of the position you are running for.
- Complete the Candidate Information Sheet (You may pick this up from the Office of Student Affairs and Retention).
- Have the nomination form completed by 20 students.
- Submit the Candidate Information Sheet and the Nomination Form to the Office of Student Affairs and Retention by 2:00 pm on Friday, October 19, 2007.
- You will be contacted by telephone on the evening of Monday, October 22 to have your nomination confirmed.
- Campaign October 22 - October 26, 2007. You must have any posters you create approved by the Office of Student Affairs before you hang them up.
- Encourage students to vote October 26 - 27, 2007.
