Financial Clearance Information

All students are required to obtain financial clearance before they can be guaranteed their class registration and housing for the upcoming semester.

How do I qualify?

You are considered financially clear if your anticipated costs for the upcoming semester are fully covered with the use of approved financial aid (including scholarships, grants, and loans) and/or an approved payment plan. For financial aid to be included as approved and applied toward your expected balance, all documentation must be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Services.

In order to maintain your assigned campus housing and class registration, it’s important to have arrangements in place by the advertised deadline for each semester. Failure to secure financial clearance may result in late fees, dropping of registration, and prevent you from being able to access campus housing.

Affordable Payment Options

Southeastern’s affordable monthly payment plans are available to all students and families, regardless of need or financial standing.

Check Your Balance

Once you’re set up with financial aid and/or a payment plan, you can log in to our JICS system to check your balance at any time after July 1.
