Biography
Kathy Kempa has been a public librarian in Wisconsin, Illinois, Oregon, and New York. She held positions as technical services and Children's services librarian. Since being hired at Southeastern in 2007, she has served as part-time evening reference librarian, as assistant, then head of circulation, and now as reference and electronic services librarian. She tries to live according to I Peter 4:8-11.
Kathy has earned 42 graduate credits from Syracuse University's College for Human Development where she was a teaching assistant in textile and textile design classes. Kathy is a reference librarian with primary responsibility for database access. She teaches Bibliographic Instruction for students in Composition 1 and 2 classes.
