Endowments & Scholarships
Southeastern University Endowed and Annually Funded Scholarships are awarded according to scholarship requirements by the Scholarship Committee. Please note: You must be a traditional student to be eligible for these scholarships.
Alfred and Hulda Anderson Memorial Endowment
A need based scholarship that is to be awarded annually to a junior or senior with a proven GPA of 3.25 or higher.
Armstrong Family Scholarship Fund
A need based scholarship that is to be awarded annually to a student demonstrating financial need with at least a 2.5 GPA. Financial need is determined by information submitted on student’s FAFSA.
Burnett Endowment Fund
This is a need based scholarship to be awarded to a student with at least a 2.0 GPA or above.
Crossroads Scholarship
This scholarship is to be awarded to a Florida resident only, with preference given to a citizen of Hardee County. The student must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Cyril Homer Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is awarded annually to a junior or senior with a Ministerial or Missions major. Student must demonstrate qualities that indicate a high degree of spiritual leadership and moral strength. The student must have maintained a GPA of 3.0. This scholarship is to be presented to one recipient.
Foreign Nationals Endowment Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded annually to a Foreign National student who is enrolled full time at SEU seeking an undergraduate degree. Applicants must be able to show financial need and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 at the end of the first year and a minimum GPA of 3.0 thereafter.
Foster W. Bolin Memorial Scholarship
This memorial scholarship will be awarded annually to a senior ministerial student who shows promise of successfully engaging in full time ministry of the gospel.
Foreign Nationals Endowment Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded annually to a Foreign National student who is enrolled full time at SEU seeking an undergraduate degree. Applicants must be able to show financial need and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 at the end of the first year and a minimum GPA of 3.0 thereafter.
Foster W. Bolin Memorial Scholarship
This memorial scholarship will be awarded annually to a senior ministerial student who shows promise of successfully engaging in full time ministry of the gospel.
Founders Fund
This scholarship is awarded to a Missions major who is intending on serving as a minister, a missionary or an educator. Applicants must have a current GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Harry and Irma Wolf Scholarship Fund
This fund was established in honor of the parents of Harry and Irma Wolf. The scholarship is awarded to a student enrolled as a sophomore or above who has a 2.5 GPA of above. The recipient must be an active member of an A/G church in the Peninsular Florida District.
International Student Scholarship
This scholarship is to be awarded to any student who is not a United States citizen. The applicant must be in good standing with SEU and must be of high character. The student must maintain at least a GPA of 2.5 in all courses. Preference will be given to students from countries where Christians are a minority and/or persecuted for their faith. Applicants must submit a 250 word essay for the donor to determine the recipient.

Joe and Eloise Judah Memorial Scholarship
Two $500 awards will be given annually to a Junior or Senior Missions major.
Koinonia of Ruskin Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established by Mrs. Betty Buhrkhul and the remaining members of the Koinonia of Ruskin, Church located in Ruskin, FL. This scholarship is awarded annually with preference given to a single parent with a child under the age of 18. The child must currently be living under the care of the single parent. The student must maintain a 2.5 GPA or above.
Lucille Dabney Clark Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student with at least a 2.5 GPA. The student must demonstrate high leadership skill.
Mack James Scholarship Fund
The James Mack Scholarship will be awarded to a student with a major in Ministry who demonstrates a financial need. Applicants must have a current GPA of 2.5 or higher.
PK Endowment Scholarship
Awarded to a new full time freshman or sophomore of SEU who is the dependent of an A/G ordained minister or missionary serving either Peninsular Florida section 10 or 11 or the Southeastern Spanish District. The pastor must have served for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years prior to the date of the scholarship application. Recipient must not be over 21 years of age and student must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. The recipient must be listed as a dependent on parent(s) most recent income tax return. The recipient will also be required to write a 500 word essay and the FAFSA must be completed.
Porter Noble Leighton Roebuck
This award will be given annually to a junior or senior Mission major with a 2.5 GPA. The scholarship will be divided evenly over the fall and spring semesters.
Ralph and Audrey Crowell Memorial
This scholarship is to be given to a junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. The scholarship will be divided evenly between the fall and spring semesters.
Reach One International Endowed Scholarship
This is a matching scholarship for an international student. The student must have a 2.0 GPA or higher.
Robert and Margaret Gatlin Scholarship
Applicant must be a junior or senior from West Florida. The student must be a ministry major who is presently active in student ministry.
Roy J. and Iris A. Kasmar Scholarship
This is a need based scholarship awarded to an entering freshman or transfer student with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and the student must be a Business major.
Robert and Nina Herron Scholarship
This scholarship is to be awarded to a student who demonstrates financial need and who has completed a FAFSA. Preference will be given to students who are performing to the best of their academic ability. Applicants must be in good standing with SEU and should demonstrate high character. The recipient should draft a thank you letter to the donor stating how the scholarship was a benefit to them.
Thomas Cross Scholarship Fund
This scholarship will be awarded to a student(s) with a class status of sophomore, junior or senior maintaining a GPA of 2.0 or above. The student must demonstrate financial need and have a Ministry major.
