Southeastern University's College of Arts & Media officially opened its new rehearsal hall during a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning. Tiffany Gauthier, a Southeastern alumna, was selected by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for its prestigious, nationally recognized internship program. Gauthier is interning with the production team at the Washington National Opera at the Kennedy Center. Her internship is from January to May of 2015. Southeastern University’s Department of English and Foreign Languages will host a Summer Writing Festival June 11–14 for high school juniors and seniors and college freshmen and sophomores. The festival features professional writers, including Andrew Skerritt, Warren Doody and Michael Martin.
