Biography

Dr. Carroll brings more than 15 years of leadership experience to Southeastern University. He has managed both individual and team projects for Fortune 500 companies and has served with nonprofit organizations in strategic planning, donor identification and recognition, and the execution of major capital campaigns.

At Southeastern, Dr. Carroll is responsible for raising significant funds for major projects, scholarships, and general operations. Dr. Carroll also oversees public relations, alumni relations, church relations, and corporate and foundation relations. Additionally, he has direct oversight of all university legal affairs.

Before coming to Southeastern, Dr. Carroll was the director of Founders Circle at Convoy of Hope, an international aid and disaster relief organization. The organization, which is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, has more than 100,000 children in their feeding programs around the world. In his position at COH, he was responsible for the development of a multimillion-dollar, global development and advancement program for major donors and corporations. He also planned, organized, and implemented a series of international vision and advancement trips for partner resourcing, leadership, and business development to Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean.

Dr. Carroll also worked with his family’s industrial construction management company, The Carroll Group. While with The Carroll Group, he worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies.
